there are excuses behind every mistake. and behind every excuse is a reason that made us this way.

So I’ve re-started my art habits and have been staying home while my social-status has just died, but that doesn’t matter, since I’m doing this for future efforts: to sculpt and re-build my portfolio.
Where did this start? I was stuck home one day, and i started to re-think things, what am I doing and where am i going with this? Sure, being a dancer pays off really well, but I wanted more out of that!
And then it hit me: Art.
People are gifted with skills and talents, and I’m proud to say mine would be a little bit of that creativity (thank you God!). It’s been a year since I’ve done anything I’ve really liked. I’ve been so caught up with my social life that I’ve come to neglect my own works.
But of course, where would I be without inspirations? Having gone up the social ladder and meeting people definitely has it’s advantages: Facebook isn’t just to keep up with your friends, It has revealed opportunities to meet people with amazing talent without travelling across the continent!
I’ve never been one to add random people i didn’t know, but ever since my job as a dancer developed, I’ve met people with talent and skill in the areas i love to major in and have been so inspired to continue things on my own. Knowing a 19 year old girl (ZEMOTION also known as Zhang Jianga) from Singapore had made it from taking photos in her backyard of her friends; to taking photo shoots for Mercedez-Benz!
My Current Inspirations:
Tim Keweritsch’s and Ariel Lee’s photography skills and art of editing inspired me to push myself further. Seeing their work encourages me more than ever, knowing all i need to do is continue what I’ve loved to do in the first place: Art.
Currently focused on art and editing, and plan to get my own DSLR camera soon (either a Nikon D90 or the latest Canon rebel). :)
” Paul Varjak: I love you.
Holly Golightly: So what.
Paul Varjak: So what? So plenty! I love you, you belong to me!
Holly Golightly: [tearfully] No. People don’t belong to people.
Paul Varjak: Of course they do!
Holly Golightly: I’ll never let ANYBODY put me in a cage.
Paul Varjak: I don’t want to put you in a cage, I want to love you! “
